OVERVIEW
Autodesk is a software company that created a suite of tools that are used by a large range of professionals. It is impossible to simultaneously work on the project without overriding other changes.
Ranging from January to May in 2016, my five teammates and myself (from the User Experience & Industrial Design Programs at Philadelphia University) designed a collaboration platform that could ideally be used with Autodesk tools.
DEFINE
Each step of the process was split among the total teammates. The goal of this project was to:- design a collaboration platform that would integrate with Autodesk tools
- help revolutionize collaborative work among teammates
DISCOVER
Our research comprised of:- Conducting a Design Critique Cycle - utilized two current platforms, BamBam and Basecamp
- Creating a User Flow - traced our steps, troubles, and insights on both platforms
- Assembling our Findings - created a mission statement that outlined our goals with the collaboration platform
- Designing a Future State Flow - determined the user flows for the manager, designers, and clients

DESIGN
- Once the future state flow was figured out, our navigation system was laid out in structural designs.
- The structural designs led to each individual submitting visual designs for the correct feel for Signature.
- We voted and created the final look for Signature.
The wireframes, visual designs, and final prototype of the platform were created on Axure.

The teamwork alone in this platform gave me a taste of working on multi- profession projects in practice, seeing it from beginning to end.
